Hollywood Reporter 2/16/07 Think Film's Prez Mark Urman snags an Oscar nom for Half Nelson through strategy. He picked up this low, $1 million budget Indie at Sundance 2006, showed it at Toronto, released it in August before the other Oscar hopefuls, then sent a DVD copy to all 5,800 members of the academy, all 2,000 members of SAG nominating committee, 200 to critis and another 90 to Hollywood foreign press.
